Women can be violent or abusive towards their partners too. Although it is generally acknowledged that the majority of domestic violence is perpetrated by men against women, it happens the other way round too.
The Respect Phoneline is available for women who have concerns about the way they behave towards their partners.
Women in heterosexual relationships
We have published a booklet to help women understand their situation better and, hopefully, make some changes towards a safer relationship. This booklet can be downloaded here.
You can also download our Managing Jealousy leaflet.
Women in same-sex relationships
We have produced a brief booklet for women in same-sex relationships who have been violent/abusive and need help. It can be downloaded here.
