Consultation on the 2nd edition of the Respect Service Standard

Spring 2011

Respect is seeking the views of members, assessors, panel members and external stakeholders on the second edition of the Service Standard.

The recent review of the first 24 assessments showed the value of the service standard in improving the performance of services and areas where practice remains weak.  The new version of the standard responds to this with improvements in the standards associated with risk assessment and management.  However, in the main the standards have not changed significantly. There is a small reduction in the overall number of standards and we hope a greater clarity in other areas.
