Respect's key focus is on increasing the safety of those experiencing domestic violence through promoting effective interventions with perpetrators.

Respect's work

Respect offers services to its members from the statutory and voluntary sector: a fortnightly email update with news from the sector, a quarterly newsletter, support and advice around domestic violence perpetrator issues and associated women's support services, a professional website with a members' only forum and resources area.

Respect is currently running the following projects:

Respect offers the following services to the public:

  • Respect Phoneline, a helpline for people who are concerned about their behaviour towards their partners and need help.
  • Men's Advice Line, a helpline for men suffering domestic violence: 0808 801 0327 www.mensadviceline.org.uk
  • Dads' Space, website aimed at all fathers and offers an entertaining and no-nonsense approach to parenting advice. It provides links to helpful resources and services as well as hosting its own helpdesk, where Dads can email one of our parenting advisors around any issues they may be having as a father. The site will also provide information surrounding the more complex family matters including domestic violence, divorce and post separation parenting. www.dads-space.com
